We build plans for success
Whether the aim is school entry, improved attainment or a desire to inspire a love of reading, we plan roadmaps that implement structure and achievable goals. These can be carried out at home under your supervision or we can place a tutor with you to enhance your child's progress as well as adapt the roadmap when necessary.

Thinkerer's aim is to grow student's breadth of knowledge whilst also developing key skills and our tutors have deep subject knowledge, are engaging and versatile teachers but most importantly, they have life experience enabling them to connect a student's learning to the world around them.

Hi, I’m Philip, the founder of Thinkerer. I’ve been a private tutor and consultant for 10 years providing guidance and advice to parents and students who have successfully navigated 7+, 8+, 9+, 10+, 11+ and 13+ entry. Thinkerer is the expansion of my work. My approach to tuition, facilitation and enrichment has always been driven by a desire to broaden the knowledge base of my students, to provoke more why's than just how's and create curious, inventive learners who are proactive problem solvers. We are bringing together the most knowledgeable minds in education to help enhance your child’s attainment and ensure they achieve their goals. Our assessments, road maps and ongoing consultancy provide wrap around support and peace of mind in the ever more competitive and stressful process that is school entry as well as providing support to improve attainment year on year throughout your child's education.
